Discipline that lets both principals contract with confidence.
Orthant's value is verification and coordination. Counterparties, specifications and documentation are checked before and through a transaction — while funds, escrow and payment stay outside Orthant's hands.
Counterparty qualification
Buyers and sellers are qualified before introduction — legal identity, beneficial ownership signals, and demonstrable authority to buy or sell the stated material.
Specification verification
Material is verified against mill test certificates and independent assay. Contracts reference confirmed parameters rather than unverified offers.
Independent inspection
Recognised inspection agencies are engaged at agreed points for sampling, quantity and quality determination.
Documentation integrity
Origin, specification, inspection and shipping documentation are coordinated to remain consistent from origin to destination.
Sanctions & trade controls
Corridors and counterparties are screened against applicable sanctions and export-control regimes as part of qualification.
Clear role boundaries
Orthant coordinates. It does not hold funds, provide escrow, or take positions — reducing conflict and clarifying responsibility between the principals.
What Orthant is not.
Orthant is a commercial intermediary and trade coordinator. At this stage it does not own inventory, guarantee allocations, hold client funds, provide escrow, payment services or trade finance, operate an exchange, or trade commodity derivatives. It is not a mine, refinery or producer.
Verification, inspection and screening are conducted in good faith with recognised third parties. They support — but do not replace — each principal’s own due diligence, contracting and legal review.
Company registration details, regulated status and any applicable licences will be published here once incorporation is complete.
